Bird Watching Trip to Taman Botani Negara Shah Alam 20th November 2021


Situated in the north of Shah Alam, TBNSA takes approximately 40 minutes to drive from KL. TBNSA has a unique combination of lowland rainforest, paddy fields, plantations, lakes & botanical garden. Munias, Broadbills, Spiderhunters, Barbets, Woodpeckers, Bulbuls & Malkohas are commonly seen. 2 species of Pitta are also in the records.


Meet at the carpark near park entrance at 7.15am. Gates opened at 7.30 and the ticket is rm3 per adult (self pay). We appreciate your punctuality.


Come dressed in dull-coloured long-sleeves clothing and hat as well as comfortable shoes. The event is suitable for all ages as it is a leisure walk to enjoy the birds. Please bring along binoculars, drinking water, light snacks, sun block, umbrella and mosquito repellent. The event shall ends at noon.


This activity is open to MNS members and to fully vaccinated adults (vaccine exemption for kids under 18). Pre-registration is encouraged. As an effort for crowd control, we will split into 4 groups with maximum 5 participants in each group. Please submit your group selection to Izzat (011-19130271) during your pre-registration.
