We are one of the Special Interest Groups under the Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch, who love all things in nature with a particular passion for birds.

Birds are our friends - they are an important element for a healthy environment. We love to see them in the wild. Real bird lovers DO NOT keep birds as pets, collect their nests or support bird releasing rituals as the bird trade subjects birds to cruel conditions.

We are non-profit. Everything from the building and maintenance of this website, to trips, talks and courses is manned by a team of individuals, who happily give their time and energy to share the magic of birds.

Objectives

1. To promote birdwatching and appreciation of wild birds

2. To increase awareness and education on the conservation of birds and their habitats

3. To contribute to the study and record of birds in Malaysia
