Selangor Branch Bird Group will be organising a day trip to Talang in Kuala Pilah, Negeri Sembilan. This is a new site for us to discover for our day trip. If you want to know what it was, join us for this trip!
Fret not if the star bird decided not to show itself, as there are other lowland species such as Bulbuls, Barbets, Babblers, Malkohas, Flowerpeckers, in-flight Hornbills and possibly Trogons too. It would take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to reach the meeting point. We appreciate your punctuality as we will carpool from the meeting point to reach the site due to limited parking space. Should you wish to drive to the site, you may park along the road.
We may be birding in one of the off-road trails; therefore, it is advisable to dress in long sleeves shirts and pants, preferably in dull-coloured clothing, hat and comfortable shoes. Please bring along binoculars, drinking water, light snacks, sun block, umbrella and mosquito repellent. There are limited binoculars for loan; please indicate if you wish to borrow them. The event shall end at noon.
This activity is open to MNS members. Non-members are required to contribute RM5.00 per adult. Pre-registration is compulsory and on a first come first serve basis as we are limiting the participation to 15 people and please be warn that participants must take their own initiative to follow the latest SOP from the MKN and SBBG will not be responsible if anyone get into trouble with the authorities for not following instructions. Kindly inform us if you need a ride or can offer a ride.
