Lentang Recreational Forest (Hutan Lipur Lentang) is part of Lentang Forest Reserve and is accessible via the Karak Highway. The journey from KL takes about 40 minutes. As you approach the exit to Lentang signboard, be on a lookout for a small tunnel that connects the left side of the road to the opposite side where the forest is located. Entrance fee for adults is RM2.00 and RM1.00 for children.


Previous bird sightings in this forest include Hornbills, Broadbills, Barbets, Cuckoos, Bulbuls and other lowland species.


Wear comfortable shoes, dull-coloured clothing and hat. It is advisable to come in long sleeves shirt and pants. Please bring along binoculars, drinking water, light snacks, sun block, umbrella and mosquito repellent. The event shall end at noon.
