Come and join Selangor Branch Bird Group for a morning of bird watching at Bukit Rengit in Lanchang, Pahang. This place is well-known among the birders as "Land of the Trogons" but it also comprises of many other lowland species such as Malkohas, Bulbuls, Barbets, Babblers to name but a few. The journey from KL takes approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. Take the Karak Highway towards Kuantan and exit at Lanchang. We appreciate your punctuality as it will take another 15 minutes to reach the site from the meeting point.


Come dressed in dull-coloured clothing and hat as well as comfortable shoes. We may be birding in one of the off-road trails; therefore it is advisable to dress in long sleeves shirts and pants. Please bring along binoculars, drinking water, light snacks, sun block, umbrella and mosquito repellent. The event shall end at noon.
