On 14th of October 2017, Pesta Sayap 2017 was held at Kuala Selangor Nature Park with theme “A healthy planet for migratory birds and people – their future is our future”. The event was organized by Malaysian Nature Society for public, MNS Members, birdwatchers and wetlands warriors. This day-long event was packed with its attendant nature walks and talks, exhibitions about MNS programmes and outreach, and plenty of activities to occupy the young and old alike.
Selangor Bird Group organized a birdwalk around Kuala Selangor Nature Park compound and later, a wader watching activity at the nearby mudflat of Tanjung Karang.
